The Clubhouse at Bellewood Country Club
Bellewood was once the private estate of Chester Country entrepreneur Mr. Edward Gruber. The 17,500 square foot Georgian-style mansion is now a unique Clubhouse and event venue. From the impressive entrance hall replete with crystal chandeliers and spiral staircase, to cosy meeting rooms, private dining areas and event spaces, Bellewood is a quaint country mansion ideal for relaxing, meeting friends, and hosting private events.
Members and guests are welcomed by our professional staff to the well-stocked pro shop, and our freshly refurbished gentlemen's and ladies locker rooms.
Club Room and Lounge Bar
After a round of golf, enjoy a round of drinks in our comfortable Bar or on the back patio by the putting green. Lunch is served Tuesday through Sunday. The Club Room adjacent to the Lounge is a casual pub-style dining room, perfect for family dining. Sports are shown on large flat screens in both rooms, and hobby groups regularly meet for lunch.
Our executive chef has 26 years experience in fine restaurant and country club dining. And with three formal dining spaces Bellewood provides a memorable venue for all kinds of special events and occasions. Exquisite dining service takes place Thursday - Saturday in our main dining room. Our walnut Library is a charming venue space for special events, with a covered outdoor patio overlooking the 18th green for cocktail receptions. Private dinners and corporate meetings can be accommodated in our intimate private dining room or modern conference room.
All members of Bellewood, including social, house, swim and golf, can enjoy both Clubhouse and Pool Restaurant Dining. Members also receive free venue hire for private events. Find out more about membership and/or hosting events at Bellewood today.
